Abstract

The objective of this study is to find the effectiveness of non-conventional wells as infills under miscible gas and WAG (water-gas alternating injection) floods. Ten types of non-conventional wells are investigated and the results show that the performance of non-conventional wells strongly depends on types of wells, flood size, operational conditions, drive mechanism and reservoir characterization. Therefore, these factors must be carefully considered in optimizing the selection of wells and operating scenarios
