Oil & Gas Waste Disposal With the Smallest Footprint

Conveniently located off of Highway 7 near Nacogdoches, Texas in Haynesville/Bossier area, Advantek’s Shelby County facility provides safe disposal of wastes from nearby oil and gas operators.

Using slurry injection, the Shelby County facility addresses the challenge of achieving safe, cost effective, oilfield waste by eliminating costly trucking to distant landfills. Slurry injection also enables disposal with the smallest footprint and lowest long-term liability.

Following all safety protocols, a dedicated team at the Shelby Facility provides exceptional service with low wait time for nearby operators. Each injection batch is thoroughly analyzed to ensure the integrity of the injection formation and containment of the injected slurry.

An Environmental Challenge
Each year, millions of gallons of oil and gas wastes are generated by drilling, completion and production operations to extract hydrocarbons. Cuttings, muds, tank-bottoms, frac flow-back water, produced water are some of the materials that need proper disposal to minimize any environmental impact.

Using deep well injection, the wastes are permanently stored downhole leaving behind zero surface liability. The injection formation is determined with detailed geomechanical analysis to accept various waste types and is confined by formations that prevent the migration of injectate into other zones.

Well Monitoring
Using pressure sensors, the injection process is monitored daily to assure containment and secure operations. Data is transmitted and analyzed by our automated real-time monitoring tool @SSURE®. At Advantek headquarters, our engineering team verifies that well conditions are optimal for a secure and permanent disposal into the targeted formation.
